The Team

We’re a small team of 3 that manage the bakery, assisted by a fantastic cafe team.

TFBC is Zara’s brain-child - a trained chocolatier, she previously crafted luxury chocolates, trading as the acclaimed Winchester Fine Chocolates. Ben and Haleigh joined Winchester Fine Chocolates in 2020 and saw through the rebrand to TFBC, having worked as a mechanic and in events ops, respectively.

We used to work from a back-garden cabin fitted with a residential kitchen, until we moved into our new HQ in 2022, a commercial bakery in St Mary’s, Southampton, where we still manage the company, and bake our thousands of brownies today!

The Brownies

Our brownies are hand-made and hand-finished to a recipe honed to perfection and perfectly rich - we don’t skimp here. After many years working in the fine chocolate industry, we’ve learnt that only the best chocolate makes the best brownies, so you won’t find baking chocolate in our kitchen, only fine Belgian couverture.

Each tray is baked to a gooey, chewy texture, and then slathered in your favourite sweet treats.

Good from the crispy edges to the soft middles.

GOOD STUFF

We take great care in everything we do and that doesn’t end with the brownies. Our packaging is 100% recyclable, even down to the vegan glue on our tape and stickers.

We use local stockists where we can to reduce our overall food miles, and we’re always working hard to reduce waste throughout the whole brownie-making process.
